Welcome to the Rear Seat Delete Page

I understand that most people would NOT call this a
Delete kit, simply because it still has the look of a seat. However,
considering it is just a board covered in Leather, it's not exactly comfortable.
I wanted to remove the rear seat bench for a
variety of reasons. First - it is VERY heavy. Second it takes up a tremendous
amount of space because there is SO much foam in those seats. Also, because of
the Nitrous tank in the trunk, I am already lacking storage space for trips so I
wanted some more room. The other MAIN reason is that I am buying Cobra Daytona
seats this winter and I want the back seats to match. I didn't however want to
buy a RSD kit already created - I wanted it a little unique.
I also wanted it hinged so I can store stuff underneath ....
Also, I need the center seatbelt holders to come through because they are used
to hold the tonneau covers down ...
I wanted it in leather instead of carpet ...
I want them strong enough that if I HAD to use them for people - they will hold
just fine ...

This Helmet ALMOST fits underneath ... lots of room
under there now.

This winter I lined the whole back of the car and
under the delete kit with Brown Bread. This is a sound Barrier type
product to reduce the exhaust sound. Here is a shot of what it looks
like under there now>>
